RPS Locks & Glazing is proud to fit the SureFlap® pet door. Suitable for small dogs and larger cats, with timer.
How does the SureFlap® pet door work?
The SureFlap® pet door works with your pet’s existing microchip, and is compatible with all common microchips and RFID collar tags (not included).
Program your cat or dog’s microchip into the SureFlap® at the touch of a button, and the microchip is then permanently stored in the pet door’s memory. As your pet approaches, the SureFlap® reads the unique code on your pet’s microchip or collar tag and the pet door unlocks.
The chip reader is located on the outside of the pet door only, which allows any animal to exit but only those with the corresponding microchip can enter.
Can I stop my cat or dog from leaving through the SureFlap® pet door?
There is a manual lock to stop your cat or dog leaving or entering the house. This can be set to ‘in only’ to enable your pet to come indoors without being able to get out again.
Where can SureFlap® be installed?
SureFlap® can be installed in doors, glass and walls (tunnel extenders are available to install the SureFlap® into a wall of any depth).
How many microchip details can the SureFlap® store in its memory?
The SureFlap® stores up to 32 pet identities in its memory and remembers all registered animals even when the batteries are removed.
What batteries does the SureFlap® pet door require?
The SureFlap® pet door takes 4 x AA batteries (not supplied with the pet door unit). When the batteries start to run down an indicator light flashes red, giving you plenty of warning that they need to be changed.
Is there a warranty with the SureFlap® pet door?
The SureFlap® pet door comes with a 3-year warranty.
