Customer in Saint Leonards with seized French doors

The Problem:

Siezed French doors

I had a customer in Saint Leonards, Dorset, who had seized French doors.

After I had gained entry and removed the lock mechanism I found a broken hook case. Now mended, the doors are working once again.

The Solution

Below: The hook case is obsolete and is the lock case in made from cast metal. The aluminium case on the right is used with the original parts from the old hook case.

The Problem:

No cat flap in customer’s UPVC door

CatMy customer, in Verwood, had a UPVC door without a cat flap. She also has a cat, and cats somehow always manage to be on the wrong side of where they want to be!

It was quite a simple job to fit a flap into the glazing, meaning that she now she has one very happy cat.

Check out the ‘before’, ‘during’ and ‘after’ photos.
